Part of becoming
a stronger person meant committing myself, as much as I could, to living
without fear. I have always
been more afraid than the average person.
As a child, I was afraid of the dark and couldn’t sleep with the
closet door open without a light on.
I was also afraid of deep water, clowns, bees, and my father.
I
have noticed
that in the last few years I've become more and more afraid of an
increasing number of things. In
turn, I've become progressively more stagnant and stuck, and I believe
it is because I am allowing my fears to rule me.
So, I resolved that year to free myself from my fears, to not
allow them to restrain me any longer.
I had to go and open my big mouth…
