Write an essay addressing any of the following, or choose a related topic of your own.

• Describe features of the texts you're reading and writing for a particular class in your discipline. Describe the class as well as the texts you consume/produce.
• Describe your reactions to your classmates' texts. How do they compare/contrast to those in your discipline?
• Choose a section of one of your disciplinary texts, photocopy it, and attach it to your essay. Do a detailed rhetorical analysis of the text sample, include a discussion of audience, purpose, tone, and techniques used by the writer to develop ideas.
