Ski
Trip Lesson: Skiers, for the most part, are very impatient.

Skiers, for the most part, are very impatient. At least that's my
theory on why they
all want to travel at high speeds down the steepest parts of
the Earth riding on little sticks. It's the only plausible explanation.
Because they are impatient, skiers have no tolerance or sympathy
for petrified persons stumbling their way down the mountain, even
on "easy" runs. Skiing instructors are not immune to impatience,
either. My class zoomed far ahead by the time I was less than a
quarter of the way down the run, leaving me staring and stumbling,
nearly paralyzed with fear, dizzy,
and on the verge of tears. But I had no choices. I had
to ski, and I did. I eventually made it down the run, mostly
on my own. Impatience aside, I'm not saying that skiers are bad;
most of them are probably nice
people. I just discovered, by nature, that I am not one of them.
