When I stand on the beach, facing the vastness of the ocean, I feel religious, filled with God.  I am aware of being connected to something larger than myself.  I am no more significant than a single grain of sand or drop of water.  I think that would make some people sad, but I find it comforting.  All I have to do is breathe.

They say that the essence of Hell is being without God.  In Colorado, there is no beach, no ocean, so I have had to look elsewhere for God.
