Mike and I could be the subjects of an interesting linguistic study... if only doing what we do wouldn't make us the object of my mom's "evil eye." We participate in this... phenomenon (I wouldn't know what else to call it), in which we try to make up the zaniest names for one another or for other people and things, and then use them ubiquitously in varied social situations. |
