The Sue Ellens Are Comin' Continued
Another quality that you need to be a "Sue Ellen," is an overblown sense of your own lack of importance. My younger sister really got this one honest-she's in therapy. I have confidence that she will be able to work through this to understand what it really means in terms of being a "Sue Ellen." My other sisters and I realize all this means is that you should repeatedly ask if someone is too busy to talk to you. It makes no difference whether you are on the phone or in person. This also includes interrupting conversations to say things like, "I'll let you go, I know you're busy."
