snow home

I'm tired of people who think that the entire state of Colorado is just one big ski resort. Every time I go out of state and people ask where I'm from, their inevitable reply is always something like: "Oh, you must ski a lot" or "so, are you a boarder or a skier?" or "I went to Aspen once." Does our entire image have to focus on a few little mountain towns that are NOT representative of the entire state's people, philosopy, and way of life? Yes, I am a native Coloradoan. And no, for the most part, I don't ski.

I'm addicted to the Weather Channel. Remember that commercial with the two guys in the bar? They had their faces painted to look like "stormfront" weather graphics, and they were rooting for the lows and highs? That's me, except without the face paint and overzealous grunting.
