Rage

Tonight, I take power back. No longer am I kept, forced to dig, to follow the stream. I push back my thirst, watch as the stream dries, subsides. There is the one choice, dig or die. This endless digging myself out has gone on long enough. This rock, this cave, holds me in its stonewalled claustrophobia. I rage, rage, raging crazier, bloodier.
