Audience: You've already written for this audience. In the Personal Literacy Reflection, you wrote using a personal voice about issues that affected your understanding of language and literacy. In your Response Essay, you began to think of your classmates and teacher as an academic audience. That is, you thought of them as readers who are familiar with the academic conventions (or customs) of making clear points and supporting them with verifiable evidence. In this essay, we are asking you to once again address your classmates and teacher as an academic audience. As was the case with your Response Essay acceptable evidence for this essay includes your own personal experiences, quotations and paraphrases from the articles you read, and your analysis of the arguments made in those articles.
