Reading: From library reserve readings, Julie Jung, "The Pleasures of Remembrance: Raking in Circles and Other Unexpected Delights" (9-14), AND Ingrid Mundari, "Languages as Image Maker" (91-6)

Writing Workshop: Get back on the Wed Forum, and when you get there, do the following: Read three of your classmates' Personal Essays. As you read, think of one or two points that you would like to know more about, and for which they could give more extensive descriptive detail. After reading each essay, choose "Reply: and tell the writer what you as a reader are most interested in hearing more about (particularly in terms of detail.) (When choosing messages to respond to, try to pick at least a couple that haven't been responded to yet.)
