In this assignment, you will work with other classmates to explore the issues raised by the readings in a particular chapter of Exploring Language as well as related issues that you think of. You will be assigned to a group. You will meet with your group and divide the readings so that at least six selections from each chapter are read. Then you will identify the key issues raised by the readings and by you and other members of your group. In a brief (3 minute) presentation, you will share your findings with your class. The format for your Topic Exploration Group Assignment Presentation is as follows:

• You should briefly identify the topic you are exploring.
• You should briefly identify the articles you read.
• Your should briefly identify and define several issues raised by the readings in Exploring Language. The issues should be phrased in the form of questions.
• You should briefly identify and define several issues raised by members of your group. The issues should be phrased in the form of questions.
• You should consider, in addition to your handout, using an overhead project to display your list of issues.
