A major aspect of both academic and professional worlds is that of collaboration with a team. Most universities and businesses have moved steadily away from individual decision-making to collaborative decision-making within the last ten years, and they're continuing to move in that direction. Another important aspect of learning about communication in your field is to learn to work and communicate with a team of people from that same field--even when not all members of the team are pulling their weight. That's why you'll do half of this project with a team of other class members who share interests similar to your own.
