NOTE: In case you fall behind at any point, we've intentionally left this day mostly unplanned so you can use it to make up time lost earlier in Unit 3 (or even earlier in the semester). If you have fallen behind, use this day to catch-up and have their final essays due during the final exams period.
If you're on track, you can use the remainder of this day to start an activity that brings the entire semester together in some way. Perhaps prepare them for a self-reflection final exam where you ask them to bring in all of their essays and discuss IN DETAIL their improvement over the semester. That is, they need to explain how they've improved and then show, with specific quotes from their essays, how they've improved this facet of their writing. While you don't necessarily need to grade this, it is an effective way to get students to consider a semester's work and what they can take from CO150. You might also let them know that you'll read them and they could impact their grades, especially if they're particularly effective/convincing and their final grade is on a borderline.
Other options for the remainder of the semester would be brief oral reports (about 5-7 min each) on their final essays. It's sometimes interesting to see what issues everyone else dealt with and what they said. You might also use some of their presentations as the bases for discussions.

YOU ARE REQUIRED TO MEET WITH YOUR CLASS DURING THE ASSIGNED FINAL EXAM PERIOD IN THE ASSIGNED CLASSROOM.
But after today, your first semester of CO150 is complete!
