Online Consultations

Find us on Facebook

Directions: This page allows you to send a draft of your writing to a consultant in the Colorado State University Writing Center. The consultants attempt to respond to drafts within five busness days. Generally, the consultants will prioritize drafts sent to them by members of the Colorado State University community. If you are not affiliated with Colorado State University, we cannot guarantee that your draft will receive feedback.

To send your writing to a writing consultant:

  1. Complete the following form. Drafts will NOT be commented on unless EVERY question is answered.
  2. Check to see that your email address is correct.
  3. Attach the file containing your draft. You can use the browse button to find the file on your computer. Select the file, then click the open button.
  4. Click on the "Email Your Essay" button at the bottom of this page.
  5. Please allow up to five Writing Center business days (note that we are not open on Fridays) for us to read and respond to your draft. Please note: when we are overwhelmed with face-to-face consulting requests from members of the CSU community, we may not be able to respond to requests for online draft reviews in a timely fashion. We will let you know if this is likely to happen.

Please note: If you have any problems with this form, send an email with your paper and a brief explanation of what you would like us to comment on to writing@colostate.edu.
