- Describe yourself as a scientist. For fun, you could try to imitate the style of Orwell, Huxley, Snow, or Hughes. Consider such questions as your research methods/protocols, your emotional response to these procedures, your background/history of becoming a scientist, your future plans, etc.
- Conduct a rhetorical analysis of Orwell, Huxley, Snow, or Hughes. Explore issues of audience, purpose, socio-historic context, language choice, techniques in developing ideas, etc.
