This guide was written and revised over a period of several years by students enrolled in E600: Research Methods and Theory, a graduate course offered by the Department of English at Colorado State University and taught by Mike Palmquist. The course focuses on research methods used in the field of English, with particular attention to quantitative and qualitative methods used in composition studies. In each year since 1995, students in the course have revised and expanded the guide. Student who have worked on this guide are:
