Conducting Simple Searches of the Web

Open Directory does not allow us to show you its Web site in our frames. To view Open Directory, please click here. Open Directory will open in its own browser window. Once it has opened, please follow the directions below.

Beginning Your Search: Please follow these steps:

1. For purposes of our demonstration, please type the word composition in the Search box, located near the top of the screen.
2. Then click on the Search button, located to the right of the Search box.
3. Once you've clicked on the Search button, click on the continue button below.

Note: Using the Open Directory search box will produce a list of results that are related to Web sites that have been added to the Open Directory by its editors. These results will include both Open Directory categories and individual Web pages. You can also browse for information on the Open Directory by clicking on a category, such as Arts or News.
