Creating In-Text Citations Using APA StyleThe APA style of documentation uses parenthetical citations (rather than footnotes or endnotes) to document particular ideas, facts, or quotes taken from sources and used in a paper. (Footnotes are used in APA Style only to provide further information about a particular idea or to document copyright permission for a particular source. APA recommends that footnotes be used sparingly.) This demonstration is designed to help you create parenthetical citations that work in harmony with your reference list. |
