Phase 3 Objectives
By the end of Phase 3, students should be able to
- Identify a site or subject of interest to a specific audience
- Develop and enact an effective strategy for investigating the site/subject that includes field research (interviews, observations, surveys)
- Define and describe a specific target audience
- Select and organize information to inform the audience for the report
- Identify an issue related to the site/subject (problem, concern, lack of awareness, etc.)
- Identify an appropriate audience to whom to address an argument regarding the issue they have identified
- Identify/define and analyze the rhetorical situation for an argument about the issue identified
- Compose an effective argument to the chosen audience, using their rhetorical analysis.
