Phase 2 Objectives
By the end of Phase 2, students should be able to
- Pose and refine a significant, relevant question-at-issue
- Consider how their values, beliefs, and prior knowledge influence their response to a question-at-issue
- Conduct effective research into a question-at-issue, using library resources such as SAGE, Lexis-Nexis, Academic Search Premier and other databases
- Write an annotated bibliography of research into a question-at-issue
- Collaboratively write a explanation of the results of an investigation into a question-at-issue
- Write an effective argument in an academic context
- Document sources using MLA in-text citation and works cited
