Composition Placement Exam

Important Note:

This online exam is for NEW STUDENTS ONLY. Once you are on campus and taking classes, you are no longer considered a new student and you must take the exam in a proctored test session on campus. Proctored test dates can be found at: (http://writing.colostate.edu/comp/placementdates.cfm).

Reminder:

In order to take the online Composition Placement Examination, students need their CSU eID. Students taking this exam are assessed a $40.00 fee, which is billed to their student account. Students may work on their essays for a maximum of 90 minutes.
